Welcome to Over The Rainbow Custom Balloon Designs. I love bringing joy to others and making their vision for their special occasion come to life. I hit a road block during my infertility journey but was sparked again once my daughter, my miracle rainbow baby was born! This caused me to dive deeper into creating visions with the beauty of balloon art. I exclusively focus on balloon art and balloon displays (paired with backdrops) and truly love what I do. FAQs
How early do I need to book?
AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! In order to secure your date, rental availability, and to ensure all balloon details will be available I require a minimum of 3 weeks for bookings. If you are unable to book within 3 weeks, and the date you are requesting is still available a rush fee will apply.
How do I book your services?
Step 1: Take a look at the services that I offer. See something you like? Simply click inquire now!
Step 2: You will be directed to fill out my online inquiry form in order to truly understand your vision and what you are looking for.
Step 3: I will contact you via your preferred contact method to discuss design concepts, review budget and event details.
Step 4: Once details are finalized you will be sent a link to sign your contract, review your invoice of services to be provided and submit payment.
Step 5: Once I receive the signed contract and retainer your date will be reserved.
Step 6: I will construct a digital mockup of your design for you to approve. Once approved your design will be finalized.
Do you require a Deposit?
I require a nonrefundable retainer in the amount of 50% of services at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of service fess will be due 7 days before your event. The retainer acts as a down payment on the future service, reserves your date and helps fund the initial expenses of your event.
Do you charge for mockup designs ?
A digital mockup is constructed for all clients to ensure you have a clear vision of what I am creating for you. Mockups are complimentary for all current clients that have booked services. If you would like a mockup before you book and pay a retainer, I do charge $50 for a mockup. If you decide to book with me that $50 will go towards your retainer and will NOT be an additional fee. This policy is in place to protect the authenticity of my designs and work that goes into a mock up. Mockups involves a lot of hard work and time behind the scenes to make your vision come to life.
Do you charge for set up and strike down ?
Set up and strike down are included with all indoor same-day services. However if you require a late or next day strike down an additional fee will apply. An additional fee will also apply for outdoor locations in order to anchor and secure balloons.
Do you charge sales tax?
I do not charge state sales tax. I run a service based business in which I create balloon displays that I design, install, and strike down. I do not offer any tangible items or products.
Do you charge for Travel?
I do not charge for travel if your event is within the city limits of Columbia, SC. If you are requesting services outside this radius there will be a delivery fee.
Can I rent just the backdrops?
Unfortunately my backdrops are only available with a balloon install/displays.
